Jafar’s Staff. A collection of four animations for @disneyvillains
Each short form looping animation was created to showcase one well known device for each villain from some of Disney’s most beloved movies.
The animations were created from a single still image whereby I rendered each asset out from Maya separating foreground and background elements before combining everything in Photoshop and outputting as Png’s so they could be animated in After Effects.
I was commissioned to create some nasty looking critters for the Vivaxim print campaign. My initial sketches served to act as guides for the photographer to work from whilst I began to create the 3D models in ZBrush. I integrated the renders into the photography once it was complete before handing my files over to the re-toucher for final finessing.
The campaign was very successful and won recognition at Cannes in 2013 and 2014.

The campaign ran on social media and championed the Special Sauce in a variety of guises from a unicorn with dripping Special Sauce wings to roaring lions and interstellar rockets.

3D character illustration based upon fellow artist Billmund's character sketches for Listerine's Facebook page. The brief was to create a semi-realistic 3D character called Henry who would inhabit Listerine's Facebook page as a slightly eccentric authority on bad habits and germs.
I was commissioned by BWM Sydney to help create a low polygon style illustration that would help communicate the features of the latest Qantas app.
A close up render of a smart phone becomes the world all the features are apart of. From booking flights, hotels and activities at your destination to mobile check-in.
The agency then produced a short video where each feature pops up one after the other detailing the full experience to the user.
I was commissioned by McCann Pharmacy to create a nasty looking little creature for Venixxa haemorrhoid cream.
I began with character sketches which progressed to a 3D model from which I produced a static render.
The static render was then animated in After Effects to produce a short animation of the creature reaching out from the depths of your toilet and taking a look around before disappearing back down again.

Following on the success of the first campaign I was invited to reprise my role in designing the next batch of critters for Vivaxim. This time the nasties are to be found lurking in your food and so I began to create a dragon inspired noodle monster and a just plain ugly looking broccolini critter.
